Brighton Women's

Postby Meg » Tue Feb 23, 2010 10:34 pm

While I'm on a roll with Brighton shiz...

We've got a few women's practices planned out over the next wee while, which you're all more than welcome to come to. These are trainings where there'll be some really really good players to help you get better, so it'd be great to see you guys at them. I'll put out more details closer to each one, but here are the dates so you can plan manically in advance, like I love to.

20 March (Saturday)
24 April (Saturday)

Also, come to Mondays. Mondays are cool and I'll even be back at them once my DPhil proposal has stopped ruining my life (next week, I hope).

Meg xx

Don't go home, play frisbee!!!!!

Right, this Saturday, Preston Park (see exciting link: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=113743256370677304312.000445e28a04c31ead56c&z=16).

At present, it's looking like 10am start, but I'm checking with satellite players about whether that works...

Be there, it'll be wicked, and really great preparation for winning UWON on home turf ;)

So, brief update:

Saturday 24th April is the weekend before UWON (women's nats, which we're hosting!). Therefore, put this day in your diaries NOW. It is a day you will be playing frisbee. Not girly frisbee. Women's frisbee.

More info to follow from my favouritist captain in the history of ever (Rachael, in case you're wondering) - just wanted to get the word out early.

Enjoy your Easters. Throw frisbees. Eat chocolate.

Can I be creative and throw chocolate, eat frisbees?

Guys, Lucy and I went today and it was really amazing confidence/skills/general fun boosting wise. Come along!
